mobilezone announces approval by the German Federal Cartel Office for the takeover of SH Telekommunikation Deutschland GmbH

Rotkreuz, 07 June 2019 - mobilezone has received unconditional approval from the German Federal Cartel Office for the acquisition of SH Telekommunikation Deutschland GmbH, Cologne, Germany. The final steps will be completed within the next few days.

As an independent online provider, SH Telekommunikation Deutschland GmbH sells contract-based mobile communications services. With the takeover, mobilezone is consolidating and strengthening its presence in Germany and in particular its e-commerce competence with the online platform www.sparhandy.de. In financial year 2018, revenues of EUR 517 million were generated with a normalised EBIT of EUR 10.1 million. SH employs 250 staff.
